MICROPROBE RATES
Charges are per eight hour shift with a four hour minimum
I. STANDARD (COMMERCIAL)
$ 800 per 8 hour shift
II. UNIVERSITY AND GOVERNMENT FUNDED
$ 500 analyses by staff
$ 400 analyses by user
III. PREFERRED USER
$ 300 9am - 5pm
$ 100 5pm - 1am
$ 50 1am - 9am
- To become preferred user, more than $ 2000 must be used in one year.
- Three days of training at the preferred user rate are given to enable users to work independently on the probe (i.e. evening shifts ). If more training time is required or multiple users are to be trained, the standard university rate of $ 300/shift will be charged.
- Each preferred user account may only be used by one principle user (e.g. one researcher, and his/her students).
- In case there is busy probe time or there is laboratory class, the manager of the microprobe laboratory may ask the people who booked more than three weekdays in one month to give up their extra probe time.
